1. Measurement AI

AI that analyses wall photos and returns a three-way area breakdown per wall — fast, accurate, and delivered to the operator's app.

  • Paintable area: confirmed visible wall surface (sq ft / sq m)
  • Non-paintable area: doors, windows, built-in fixtures
  • Blocked area: movable furniture detected in front of wall — surface is real but not visible in photo

2. Android App

Lean capture-and-submit app. Operator enters Job ID, photographs walls room by room, reads the AI area breakdown, and submits. No login, no editing, no drawing tools.

  • Job ID entry screen — ties every survey to a real Birla Opus job record
  • Guided camera capture with prompts (angle, distance, lighting)
  • Read-only results: paintable / non-paintable / blocked area per wall
  • Per-room and whole-home area summary before submission
  • Survey submission to our systems with Job ID, timestamp, and device metadata

3. Data Storage and Admin View

Secure storage for all survey data, keyed by Job ID. A web dashboard for the Birla Opus team to monitor surveys, drill into individual results, and export data for accuracy analysis.

  • Survey storage: photos, area results (all three categories), metadata
  • Each photo is analysed by the AI and results are returned to the operator in the app
  • Admin view: survey list (filter by date, Job ID, region), drill-down to detail
  • CSV export: per-wall and per-room area data keyed by Job ID
  • Accuracy tracking dashboard: AI results vs manual reference measurements

Terms & Conditions

Payment Terms

Setup fee (₹5,50,000): 50% on signing (₹2,75,000) · 50% on app delivery (₹2,75,000). Work commences after receipt of initial payment.
Monthly running costs: billed in arrears. Invoice shows separate lines — survey fees (₹30 × count for next 1,000 surveys) + actual hosting and infrastructure costs. 10% management fee applied on hosting and infrastructure only. Payable within 7 days.
18% GST applicable on all invoices. Hosting and infrastructure costs itemised with actual cost documentation on every monthly invoice.

Survey Definition and Billing

One survey = one complete home visit — all walls captured and submitted under a single Job ID in a single session.
Pulse survey pricing: ₹30 per survey applies to the next 1,000 surveys. Pricing for surveys beyond 1,000 to be agreed separately.
Failed surveys (system error on our side) are not charged. Incomplete surveys (started, not submitted) are not charged.
If the same Job ID is resubmitted, each submission is billed separately. Monthly billing cycle; invoice within 3 business days of month end.

POC Scope

In scope: Android app (direct install); AI area classification — paintable, non-paintable, blocked; data storage and admin view with CSV export.
Out of scope: defect detection; draw-on-screen tools; iOS; Zoho integration; OTP/GPS verification; paint estimates; Visualiser; notifications; full admin dashboard.
Anything outside this scope is a change request requiring written approval and a separate cost estimate.

Accuracy and Limitations

Measurement accuracy depends on image quality, lighting, and operator capture technique. Operator guidelines are provided to maximise accuracy.
Blocked area (movable furniture) is reported separately — it represents real wall area that exists but cannot be confirmed from the photo.
Accuracy reports present field data as-is and include recommendations. They do not constitute a warranty of accuracy for any individual survey.

Full-Platform Credit

If Birla Opus signs the full platform engagement (PROP-BIRLAOPUS-2026, ₹61,00,000) within 6 months of POC app delivery, the ₹5,50,000 setup fee is credited against the first milestone payment. Credit lapses after 6 months.
What we build for the POC carries forward into the full platform — no throwaway work.

Future Development (Post Full Platform)

AMC: Fixed monthly fee covering bug fixes, patches, uptime monitoring, and defined support SLAs. Priced separately at full platform go-live.
T&M for new features: Each enhancement scoped and priced per written SOW before work begins. Independent of AMC.

T&M Rate Card (Reference)

For any work outside the POC scope — whether a change request during the POC or future platform development — the following rates apply. These are provided for planning purposes; all actual engagements are confirmed via a written SOW before work begins.
Tech Lead / Architect: ₹4,000–5,000/hr — system design, AI model decisions, integrations, code review
Senior Engineer (Full-Stack / Android / AI): ₹3,000–3,500/hr — feature development, API work, AI pipeline
Mid-Level Engineer: ₹1,800–2,500/hr — standard feature work, UI, backend modules
QA Engineer: ₹1,200–1,500/hr — test planning, device testing, regression
Project Manager: ₹1,500–2,000/hr — coordination, sprint management, client communication
Rates are exclusive of GST (18%). Minimum billing unit: 1 hour. Monthly T&M invoices include a time log by resource and task. Estimates provided upfront for any engagement over 20 hours.

IP, Confidentiality and Termination

All deliverables (including the app, the AI, and related work) become Birla Opus's property on full payment of the setup fee.
All survey data stored securely (encryption at rest and in transit) on infrastructure in India. Confidentiality obligations survive termination.
Either party may terminate with 14 days written notice. Initial 50% payment is non-refundable. Source code and documentation delivered to date on termination.

Warranty

30-day warranty on the app and the system from delivery date. Covers bugs in delivered functionality.
Critical issues (app unusable): 4-hour response. High: 24 hours. Medium/Low: 48–72 hours.
